My Journey So Far

As a filmmaker, my journey has been one of discovery and growth. When I picked up my first camera, I knew this was my calling. I was drawn to the way that video could tell a story, evoke emotions, and connect people that still photos or written words alone couldn’t.

Growing up in Toronto, I had the opportunity to be part of a vibrant film community. I was surrounded by talented filmmakers, and I was able to learn from the best. I studied film production in college and graduated with honours. This solid education gave me a strong foundation in the technical aspects of filmmaking and helped me understand the creative process behind it.

After graduation, I began working on various film projects, and it was through these experiences, I learned the most. I was fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented and creative people in the industry. I formed SevenSeas Productions, a Guelph-based film and video production company and my first ever production was a joint venture between a crew in Toronto and counterparts in London, UK.

Since starting SevenSeas Productions, I have had the privilege of directing and producing projects in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Every new project is a new adventure and I do my best to never shy away from new experiences. My goal is to capture the essence of each location and to showcase the unique talent and perspectives of each area. I believe in the power of storytelling and the ability of film to evoke emotions and connect people. I’m not about the fanciest gear or newest gadget, I believe in giving people chances and trying new techniques.

I have been fortunate enough to see my passion for filmmaking come to life. It has been a challenging and rewarding journey, and I am excited about the many stories yet to be told. Am I where I want to be yet? No, but my journey so far with filmmaking has been an incredible experience and I am grateful for every opportunity I've had to tell stories through the medium of videos. Stick around as the journey continues because I’ve got some fun ideas coming up!
